Terms & Conditions:

All bookings made with Isunga Expeditions are subject to the following terms and conditions.

Note: for the purposes of these terms and conditions, “you” means all individuals booked on the tour and “we” means Isunga Expeditions. The contact person making the booking is required to indicate acceptance of the terms and conditions and does so on behalf of any group members they represent.

The cost of your trip includes: four wheel drive vehicle as specified in the itinerary, fuel, English speaking safari guide, primate tracking permits as specified in the itinerary, other activities as mentioned in the itinerary, entry cost to all parks as mentioned in the itinerary, meals and accommodation per the itinerary. The cost does not include international flights (unless special agreement), visa fees, drinks, items of personal use, personal insurance, porters, tips and activities mentioned as optional. We reserve the right to adjust the cost of your tour due to circumstances beyond our control such as changes to government taxes, permit costs, operating conditions, but would do everything possible to minimise any increases.

Payment: a deposit payment is required at time of booking, and the amount required will depend on what payments must be made in advance to secure activities, hotel deposits etc. The deposit payment to be made will be specified on your quotation. The balance due shall be cleared at least 30 days prior to the start of your tour.
Bookings made within 30 days of departure date must be paid in full at time of booking.

Method of payment: payments can be made by either international wire transfer or online via Pesapal. Please contact us to discuss the most convenient and cost effective method for you.
Once your itinerary has been agreed and the deposit payment received, we will make the necessary reservations for activities and accommodation. Sometimes it may be necessary to substitute another hotel if the 1st option is not available, which may affect the final cost of the tour.

Changes after booking: If you want to make changes in your itinerary after booking we will arrange for this if it is possible. Note that the dates for gorilla, chimpanzee and golden monkey tracking cannot be changed after booking and also that any changes made may result in additional costs.
In the case of unforeseen circumstances (for example road closures, bad weather, security conditions or problems with hotels) we reserve the right to make adjustments in the itinerary. You will off-course be informed about this as soon as possible.

Every effort is made to ensure roadworthiness of vehicles but punctures, breakdowns, damage or any other delay can occur due to poor road conditions that are out of our control, and for this no liability can be accepted.

Cancellation policy: the following is intended as a guide if you need to cancel your booking, but this can vary depending on factors such as cancellation/refund policies of service providers such as hotels and lodges, banks etc. In the event that only some members of a group cancel, then those cancelling will also need to pay their portion of any shared costs such as guide, vehicle.

Cancellations must be made in writing by the contact person. Should any members of a group cancel their booking, they will be charged their part of the shared costs.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any part of the tour if a participating member acts in such a way that could cause damage or danger to a third party or to property or the environment. In these circumstances no refunds will be given or compensation for any costs incurred.
